A cyclist has been hospitalised after road traffic collision near Corsham.
Emergency services were called to a crash on Lacock Road at around 8am today (Tuesday).
The incident involved a cyclist and a car near the junction for Coppershell.
The cyclist, a man aged in his 60s, sustained injuries – and was treated by medics on scene.
He was then rushed to the Royal United Hospital for further care.
Wiltshire Police said that the casualty’s wounds are not thought to be serious, and “no arrests were made” in connection with the collision.
South Western Ambulance Service confirmed that one double-crewed ambulance was sent, and “conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Royal United Hospital”.
