A Trowbridge sex offender has been jailed over a breach of a strict court order.
Earlier this year, Daniel Davis was handed a suspended prison sentence for filming and watching people using the toilet in a McDonald’s restaurant in Bath.
At Bristol Magistrates’ Court on 14 August, the 33-year-old, of Beech Grove, was also made subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
The defendant was arrested in connection with an investigation into incidents involving approaches made to young girls in the area on Monday (29 September).
On arrest for the allegations, officers found him to be in possession of a mobile phone with a camera – which was prohibited by the SHPO.

While Davis was released on bail for the alleged offending towards the children, he was charged with a breach of his SHPO and remanded in custody.
Having pleaded guilty, the court heard how he was in possession of a mobile phone with a camera, which is in contravention of the conditions of his order.
At Salisbury Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday), he was jailed for one year and four months.
Sgt Gemma Rutter said: “I’m aware of the community concern relating to this person and I hope that the fact that he has been jailed following a breach of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order will reassure the public that we will act swiftly and robustly to bring such offenders to justice.”
