A man’s been arrested following a stabbing in Swindon on Christmas Eve.
Wiltshire Air Ambulane has landed at the scene of the serious incident at around 10pm last night.
Ten police units and Swindon CID attended the incident, on Melksham Close, Penhill.
An undamaged BMW was recovered from the scene – thought to be evidence in the case.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called to an address in Penhill at just before 10pm on Sunday 24 December 2017 to an incident whereby a local man had been stabbed with a bladed weapon by another man believed to be known to him.
“The victim was taken to hospital but has now been released.
“A 23-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of GBH and is currently in custody.”
