Wiltshire Police have charged a man with possessing a firearm and ammunition.
21-year-old Jakub Ksiazek, of Croft Road, Swindon, faces allegations of possessing a prohibited firearm and related ammunition without a certificate.
The force has not confirmed whether the charges related to any of the recent incidents whereby firearms have reportedly been involved.
Ksiazek is expected to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (Saturday 3 September).
He is currently remanded in police custody ahead of the hearing.
