A 19-year-old has been arrested after crashing a ‘stolen’ car in Corsham.
Emergency services were called to Leafy Lane at around 10.30pm on Monday (19 August) following reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision.
A black BMW was involved in the incident, with the passenger having sustained a head injury – and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver was found to have no driving licence or insurance and could not account for the car.
A 19-year-old man from Chippenham was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and possession of a class B drug.
He is currently in Melksham custody for questioning, Wiltshire Police has confirmed.
