Twelve dramatic photographs show Wiltshire Police probing a head-on road traffic collision in Chippenham which left a man with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Emergency services were called to the smash in Hungerdown Lane at around 11am this morning (18 May), where the drivers of the two vehicles involved appeared to have suffered minor injuries.
But the driver of the red Volkswagen took a turn for the worse at around 11.30am, suffering a cardiac arrest. Wiltshire Air Ambulance was tasked and he was airlifted to the hospital.
