A woman was pronounced dead after a serious incident at a hotel in Swindon.
Emergency services rushed to the Ibis Hotel in Henry Street, in the town centre, at around 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon (7 June).
A woman, aged in her 40s, was unresponsive at the scene – with Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance landing in GWR Park.
Hotel staff reportedly battled to save the woman’s life ahead of 999 crews’ arrival.
Despite the best efforts of those involved, the woman was declare deceased.
Wiltshire Police confirmed the death, and said that there are “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding it.
“Our thoughts are with her family”, a spokesperson added.
Locals reported seeing a significant police and ambulance presence at the hotel for around two hours.
