Wiltshire Police has stepped up patrols in an area of Royal Wootton Bassett following a serious incident earlier this week.

Officers were called to reports of a disturbance at Glenville Park, off Marlborough Road, at around 6pm on Monday (25 January) and several arrests were made.

Five males, who have since been released on conditional bail, were arrested on suspicion of various offences including violent disorder following the traveller site incident.
