A three-month-old baby was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon, after Wiltshire Air Ambulance was dispatched to a Park North address.

Air ambulance lands Park North on Sunday

The helicopter, carrying three critical care medics, touched down on Buckhurst Field near New College at around 3.40pm to attend a home in Rutland Road.

UPDATE: Wiltshire Police launch investigation

There was a large police presence in the area while the incident was ongoing – but it’s understood the police were there for crowd control around the aircraft.

The baby boy was taken to Great Western Hospital by land ambulance, although the nature of the child’s injuries are unknown.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance left the scene at just after 4pm.
