A van driver crashed into bushes along the flooded A350 this morning (Saturday).
Police were called to the road traffic collision in Notton, near Chippenham, at around 6am.
It’s believed the driver aquaplaned on flood water across the major A-road, which swiftly built up as a result of the heavy rainfall.
The driver lost control and left the carriageway – into bushes at the roadside.
A recovery truck was spotted attending the scene, but the van remained in situ hours later.
