Firefighters have freed a driver from a vehicle following a crash in Swindon.

Emergency services were called to the road traffic collision involving two vehicles on the Commonhead Roundabout at around 12.30pm this afternoon.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Due to the position of the vehicles, and the need to remove one driver from their car due to being medically trapped, we have shut lanes leading to the roundabout and diversions for traffic have been out in place.

“The incident is currently ongoing. We have fire, ambulance and police on scene.”
