A quiet residential street in Swindon was cordoned off by police last night as emergency services responded to a serious medical incident there.

At least ten police and ambulance vehicles were at the scene in Hunter’s Grove, Ferndale, at around 8pm yesterday, Saturday 18 April as they attended a private address.

A casualty, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from Swindon CID were also in attendance alongside a crime scene investigation unit.

Wiltshire Police say the death is believed to be non-suspicious.
