Police have seized dozens of cannabis plants after raiding a home in Swindon.

Officers were sent to the property in Pinnocks Place, Stratton, following a call from a member of the public at around 1.50pm on Sunday (30 March).

On entering the house, officers found a drug factory containing approximately 100 cannabis plants.

Police remained on scene for around 48 hours – carrying out forensic examination work and removing the plants and equipment for destruction.

A force spokesperson said: “The property has now been made safe and the plants have been removed while enquiries continue.

“Anyone who has any information on the property, has witnessed any suspicious behaviour or has seen people coming to and from the address is asked to contact us on 101 quoting reference 54250038682.”
