A police car has been damaged in a crash with another vehicle in Swindon this afternoon.
Officers were called to Commercial Road at around 12pm today, where they stopped a blue Ford Mondeo at the back of Havlock Street, near Natwest Bank.
A male driver, in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that the driver’s been taken to custody, where he remains.
Officers have sprayed yellow spray paint around both vehicles’ wheels, indicating that an investigation into the contact between them may be investigated.
