Two women have been verbally abused at Coate Water Country Park.

Police in Swindon are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which happened between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on Saturday 17 June.

The two women were walking close to the lake when a group of males approached them and started verbally abusing them.

PC Lindsey Aldington said: “Unfortunately the descriptions of the males are vague as the women were walking away from them.

“However, we’d like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard this incident or witnessed anything suspicious in this area of Coate Water at the time.”
