A man has reportedly been stabbed in a disorder on a Royal Wootton Bassett estate.
Emergency services responded to an attack in Daisy Brook, off Cloatley Crescent, at around 10.45pm on Thursday evening (12 June).
A man, aged in his 20s, sustained serious injuries – and was rushed to the Major Trauma Centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
Despite being asked, Wiltshire Police has not confirmed whether or not the man’s injuries were inflicted with a blade.
Several local residents claim the victim was stabbed in the chest. The force did state that his injuries are not being described as life-threatening.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of inflecting grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in police custody for questioning.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 22:49hrs on Thursday 12 June to an incident in Royal Wootton Bassett.
“We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a critical care car to the scene.
“We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Southmead Hospital.”
A house was cordoned off as a crime scene, and a police unit was also at the incident.
