A man has been charged with murdering a 27-year-old in Swindon on Wednesday (2 July).
Indogan Erdoganm is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (5 July).
The 31-year-old, of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article.
It comes after police were called to Manchester Road following a report of a seriously injured man requiring assistance at around 5am. 27-year-old Fatih Zengi died shortly afterwards.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker, who is leading the investigation, said: “On behalf of Wiltshire Police, I would offer condolences to the family of Fatih Zengi as they come to terms with their loss.
“I would also like to thank the local community for their patience and support during this investigation.
“There will continue to be further police presence over the coming days in support of the ongoing investigation and for community reassurance.”
