A man has been arrested after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a Swindon crash.
Emergency services responded to a road traffic collision in Gladstone Street, off Manchester Road, at around 7pm on Monday (5 May).
A 25-year-old man, who was a pedestrian, sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment, but police say his wounds are not life-threatening.
Officers closed the road as 999 crews worked at the scene, before arresting the driver of the car involved in the incident.
A 26-year-old man is currently in custody, held on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The investigation is ongoing.
