A huge blaze has engulfed a block of flats in a town near the Wiltshire border.
Emergency services raced to the fire in Dairy Court, off Charlton Road, Andover, at around 6pm this evening (Sunday).
At least eight fire crews are in attendance, including an aerial ladder platform appliance, water carriers and fire officers.
Pictures show the roof well alight, but it’s unclear how many properties are affected. People are understood to have been evacuated safely.

A smoke plume is billowing into the sky – with locals told to shut their windows and doors.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: “Multiple crews are in attendance at a fire affecting a block of flats in Charlton Road, Andover this evening (1 June).
“Due to smoke in the area please drive carefully, and residents living nearby are advised to close their doors and windows.”
