A driver of a ‘locally hated’ car has been reported for numerous traffic offences.

The dangerous vehicle was stopped by roads policing officers in the Amesbury area today (Tuesday).

On inspection, they found bald tyres and an illegally tinted windscreen – but most notably, sets of protruding sharp wheel nuts that could do serious damage to people or property.

The car was also fitted with a set of protruding lights on the bonnet – items that could severely injure a person if they came into contact with the vehicle in a collision.

The driver was reported to court for “multiple dangerous offences”.
