A BMW driver has legged it after smashing through a bridge in Lechlade.
Police were called to Hambidge Lane following reports of a vehicle colliding with a bridge at around 10.10pm on Thursday evening (22 May).
Officers discovered the front end of the vehicle had gone through a wall and was hanging off the bridge.
The male driver was witnessed leaving the scene before officers arrived and despite a search of the area, he was not located.

The vehicle has been removed and the road remains closed in order for a structural engineer from National Highways to assess the damage.
“Officers investigating the collision are continuing their enquiries and are now asking anyone who witnessed what happened, or who has dashcam footage and has not yet spoken to police, to come forward”, a Gloucestershire Constabulary spokesperson said.
Adding: “They’re also asking for anyone who may have seen a white BMW 5 series being driven in the area prior to the collision to get in touch.
