A biker has been reported after driving into a fatal crash scene in Melksham.
Forensic collision investigators were carrying out examinations after a young motorcyclist died in a crash on the A350 Beanacre Road on Thursday afternoon (15 May).
The 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and road closures were put in place to allow complex forensic collision investigation work to take place.
The A350 was shut, as was Dunch Lane – with clear signage and cones across the road.

But one motorcyclist decided the closure didn’t apply to them and rode through.
He was swiftly stopped by roads policing officer Paul Brewster, who reported the biker for driving without due care and attention. He now faces a fine and points on his licence.
The A350 Beanacre Road reopened the following day, after lengthy scene examinations.
