A barrier around a former pub in Seend was damaged in a crash yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the road traffic collision on Bell Hill shortly after 5pm following reports a vehicle has crashed through a barrier at the former Bell Inn.

The road was partially blocked for a short time whilst police and paramedics attended the incident involving two cars.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We were called at around 5.10pm yesterday (15/03) to a two-vehicle collision on the A361 at Seend, outside The Bell pub.

“It involved a black Nissan and a silver Peugeot and, although paramedics attended, nobody was injured.

“The vehicles were recovered by 7.40pm.”
