A man’s been arrested on suspicion of assault in Swindon town centre this afternoon.
Five police officers and two community support officers were seen restraining a suspect on the floor outside the British Heart Foundation store on Bridge Street at around 4pm.
The man was put into leg straps to stop him from kicking out.
He was arrested on suspicion of common assault, and taken to Gablecross Police Station.
