Air ambulance medics have treated a man in Swindon after he ‘fell from a ladder’.
The ambulance service responded to reports of a casualty in the Deacon Street area at shortly after 6pm on Sunday (30 March).
According to a local resident, “a man fell off a ladder and landed on a brick wall”.
It’s claimed her then suffered a seizure on the ground, with Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance deployed to the scene.
The helicopter landed in GWR Park, off Faringdon Road, before a team of critical care medics were taken to the patient in a waiting emergency vehicle.

After stabilising the casualty, he was taken to the Major Trauma Centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol by land ambulance for further treatment.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said that “two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance and an operations officer” attended.
A Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the charity sent a doctor and critical care paramedic to treat the injured man, before accompanying him to hospital in the land ambulance.
