An air ambulance landed in Swindon after a boy on a bicycle was hit by a car.
Emergency services responded to reports of a road traffic collision in Common Platt, near Ridgeway Farm, at around 8.15pm on Monday (2 June).
A ten-year-old boy, who was riding a bicycle, was struck by a car and sustained injuries.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance landed in a field on Upper Ox Hill, as the charity’s critical care medics rushed to assist local ambulance crews on scene.
However, the boy’s injuries weren’t as serious as first thought and the helicopter team left.
The boy was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries, Wiltshire Police said.
Adding that no arrests were made in connection with the incident.
