Air ambulance medics have treated a seriously injured biker after a crash in Minety.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Sawyers Hill, at the junction with Hornbury Hill, at around 1pm this afternoon (Friday).
The incident involved a motorcycle and a tipper truck, Wiltshire Police said.
The biker, a man aged in his 30s, sustained a serious leg injury – and was treated by Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance medics on scene.
He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for further care. It’s not clear whether he was conveyed their by land or by helicopter.
His injuries aren’t thought to be life-changing, the force confirmed.
The road was closed while 999 crews worked on the patient and cleared the carriageway.
