A361 near Highworth closed as emergency services attend road traffic collision

The A361 near Highworth has been closed in both directions following a serious crash.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around midday after reports of a road traffic collision near to Reddown Bungalow Farm Shop in Swindon Road.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We’re currently dealing with a serious traffic collision on the Swindon Road.

”As a result we have closed the road between the Supermarine roundabout and Highworth roundabout for now. Please avoid the area. Thanks for your patience while we deal with this.”
