A Swindon man has been arrested over alleged sex chats with several children.
Paedophile hunters confronted the suspect during a ‘sting’ in the Cheney Manor area of Swindon on Sunday (31 August).
During the incident, the man seemingly accepted his involvement in sexual communications with teenage girls – as the group live streamed on social media.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a 58-year-old local man.
As proceedings are active in this case, Wiltshire 999s is legally unable to name the man or provide more details about the allegations.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that the suspect was held in custody on suspicion of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
He has since been released on bail as the investigation continues.
