Three sheep have been mowed down and killed by a vehicle in a field in Wiltshire.
Police have launched an investigation into the devastating incident, which took place in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
Officers were called to the rural crime scene just south of Ebbesbourne Wake, between Salisbury and Shaftesbury.
Wiltshire Police say they are still working to idenfiy the vehicle involved.
In a public appeal, a spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information after a vehicle was driven into a field south of Ebbesbourne Wake in South Wiltshire and collided with three sheep, sadly killing them.
“This incident took place in the early hours of this morning (14/08).
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the vehicle involved.
