A life-saving buoy has been throw into a lake by careless vandals in Swindon.
A member of the public spotted the orange ring floating in the middle of the small lake off Elmore in Nythe earlier this afternoon, while enjoying a walk with her dog.
Local councillor Kevin Parry told Wiltshire 999s that he’s working to resolve the issue.
“It’s disappointing that someone has chosen to do this for fun. Their actions could put someone’s life at risk. I will contact the Environment Agency to make sure it is put back in its correct place.”
