A police investigation has been launched after a road rage incident in Swindon.
Footage captured by a fellow motorist showed a man repeatedly punching through the open window of an Audi in Thamesdown Drive on Tuesday (5 August).
The incident happened at around midday at the junction for St Andrew’s Ridge, with Wiltshire Police receiving a report from the victim later in the day.
According to the victim, his nine-year-old child was terrified during the attempted assault.
He said that none of the man’s punches landed on his head, or any other part of his body. Wiltshire Police confirmed that nobody was injured.
The force has launched an investigation into the road rage-related incident, with witnesses asked to contact them directly.
