Three air ambulances have landed after a lorry and car crashed in Corsham.
Emergency services were called to the A4 Bath Road, at the junction for B3109 Bradford Road, at around 2pm today (Thursday).
The road traffic collision involved a lorry and a small car – which has resulted in three people sustaining injuries.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, Great Western Air Ambulance and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance were scrambled, landing at the scene.
One casualty has sustained significant injuries, another has serious injuries and another is walking wounded. Further updates are expected in due course.
The road has been closed in both directions – and is likely to remain closed until the early on Friday (25 July) for forensic collision investigation work.
