A woman has been killed in a head-on horror crash near a Wiltshire village.
Emergency services responded to reports of a road traffic collision on Seend Road, close to Worton high street, at around 6.45pm on Wednesday (23 July).
The serious incident involved three vehicles: a green Land Rover, a blue Kia Ceed and a black Mini Cooper.

The Land Rover and Kia impacted head-on, with the driver of the Kia – an 83-year-old woman – sustaining significant injuries.
Despite the best efforts of 999 crews, including critical care medics from Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the woman’s next of kin has been informed.

‘Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time’, a spokesperson said.
It’s believed two other people involved were taken to hospital. They aren’t believed to have sustained any serious injuries.

Police have not yet said whether or not anyone was arrested in connection with the crash.
