A Swindon play park has been cordoned off after a girl was found seriously injured.
Emergency services were called to reports of an unconscious casualty between Havisham Drive and Torun Way overnight.
The girl, aged 15, was treated by paramedics and rushed to hospital – where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
“Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of her injuries”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
Adding: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the Torun Way area last night or anyone nearby who may have doorbell or dash cam footage quoting log 54250058112.
“Alternatively you can leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
A section of footpath near Torun Way and one of two gated play parks are within the cordon. A bench is also taped off.
Within the scene, there appears to be a pool of vomit, a girl’s bracelet, a pen and some lip gloss.
