The A360 has been closed as emergency services rush to a road traffic collision.

999 crews responded to reports of a crash on the crossroads with Church Bottom, just north of Salisbury, at around 5.30pm today (Wednesday).

The road is closed in both directions between The Avenue/St Peter’s Place and the A303 roundabout.

Further details are unknown. It’s not clear whether anyone’s been seriously hurt.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “The A360 has been closed following a road traffic collision just north of Salisbury.

“The road is closed between St Peters Place and the A303, and at both roads from Stoford and Middle Woodford.

“We would advise motorists to avoid the area.”
