A man has been ‘threatened with a hammer’ during a burglary attempt in Calne.
Police were called to a property The Green at around 3.30am this morning (Friday).
Two males gained entry to a property and startled the victim, who went downstairs to challenge the intruders with his dog.
The men threatened the victim with what he believes was a hammer before leaving the property empty-handed, according to Wiltshire Police.
A force spokesperson said: “Anyone with CCTV or a video doorbell covering this area is asked to check their footage from the specified time.
