Police have arrested a man at a Swindon home after reports of a serious sexual offence.
Officers attended the property in Bessemer Close, Ferndale, this morning (Monday).
Locals saw several police vehicles parked in the street, with a man brought out in handcuffs.
They claim officers were in and out of the address carrying evidence bags.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that a man was arrested in connection with a serious sexual offence.
However, a spokesperson said it would be “inappropriate to comment further” at this stage due to the investigation being active and ongoing.
