A police chase ended in a crash after a break-in near Bradford on Avon overnight.
Armed officers responded to reports of a burglary attempt on an outbuilding in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
A black Volkswagen Jetta failed to stop for police and a pursuit was authorised.
Officers chased the vehicle into the Bristol area, where the driver ploughed into a garden wall.
The two occupants of the car – which was on cloned number plates – were arrested for numerous offences.
