Numerous Wiltshire roads are closed as Storm Herminia brings heavy rain to the UK.

The Met Office issued two yellow weather warnings for the south of the country for this morning (Monday) – just 24 hours after Storm Éowyn.

Significant rainfall and strong winds in Wiltshire has led to a number of roads being closed – either due to severe flooding or fallen trees and debris.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service has issued advice on what to do when travelling through areas affected by severe flooding.

ROAD CLOSURES

We are updating this list regularly. CLICK HERE to refresh the page, or check back later.

• A363 Westbury Road at Yarnbrook railway bridge (flood – impassable)

• Unnamed road in Kellaways, between Langley Burrell and Bremhill (flood – impassable)

• Queens Drive, Swindon near Somerville Road junction (flood – passable with care)

In a post on social media on Sunday (26 January), Wiltshire Council wrote: “There is a lot of standing water on Wiltshire’s roads tonight, so please allow extra time for your journeys, drive carefully and be aware of surface water.

“Do not drive through floodwater.

“Report any flooding or trees down here: https://orlo.uk/RrCMZ
