Storm Eowyn has hit Wiltshire and the West Country.

A potentially deadly mix of strong winds and heavy rain are set to battle the UK today (Friday) and over the weekend, with the north expected to be most affected.

However, the south of the country – including Wiltshire – is likely to see disruption on the roads and railway from fallen trees and flooding. There could also be damage to property and power cuts.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning, which covers the entire county. Wiltshire 999s is running this live blog to keep you abreast of the situation.

Below we’ll provide you the latest local storm updates, including traffic and travel, floods and event cancellations.

Share photos and videos of storm-related incidents via WhatsApp or iMessage: 07794802940. You can also reach out on Facebook or X (formerly Twitter).
