Emergency services respond to huge house fire in Swindon

Emergency services are currently responding to a huge house fire in Swindon.

Firefighters are battling a blaze in the Imber Walk area of Penhill this morning (Monday).

At least one property is fully alight, with numerous fire crews in attendance.

Aerial photos sent in by a member of the public show the scale of the incident from above.

In a post on X, a Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service wrote: “Make Pumps Eight in the Penhill Area of Swindon.

“Fire affecting a terraced domestic property.

“Crews from Swindon, Stratton, Westlea, Wantage, Faringdon, Chippenham, Marlborough and Royal Wootton Bassett currently in attendance.”
