Two teenage boys were detained after a crash in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Police were called to a road traffic collision in Longleaze at around 8.30am today (Thursday).

The incident involved two cars near the junction with Queen’s Road. Both vehicles appeared to have sustained front-end damage, but nobody was hurt.

Officers attending the scene detained two 14-year-old boys in connection with the crash.

At one point, a male is seen to run away from a police officer – who gave chase for a couple of seconds before giving up.

An investigation into what happened is ongoing, according to Wiltshire Police.
