A major road in Swindon is closed due to a ‘person on a bridge’.

Police have shut the A419 due to an incident in the Commonhead Roundabout area, which started at around 5pm this afternoon (Wednesday).

According to a witness, a person is in distress on an overbridge – leading to a road closure. However, this has not been confirmed by authorities yet.

It’s unclear where on the route this incident is ongoing, but it is causing severe traffic delays.
