Firefighters have extinguished a fire in a lift in a Swindon high-rise block this afternoon.
Three fire crews from across the town’s three fire stations were sent to the incident by Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service at around 12.20pm this morning.
Firefighters found a small fire involving tissue paper in the lift of Milverton Court on Banwell Avenue. It was extinguished and the scene was made safe.
