A major crash has shut the A354 in both directions just outside Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to the busy route in the village of Cashmoor, Dorset, at around 4.30pm this afternoon (Thursday).
The road is closed between Blandford Forum and Salisbury, with motorists told to avoid the area.
In a statement, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We’re currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the A354 between Blandford and Salisbury.
“The road is likely to be closed for some time so please avoid the area.”
