A man’s been arrested after a collision on a main road in Swindon this morning.
During the early hours of today, a motorist was involved in the crash on Great Western Way but failed to stop at the scene – instead, he raced back to his home address.
Police officers attended his home in Royal Wootton Bassett, where he failed a roadside breath test. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion driving while under the influence of alcohol.
He remains in custody at Gablecross Police Station in Swindon.
