An ‘illegal immigrant was caught working’ on an industrial estate in Wiltshire.

Police swarmed Chelworth Park in Cricklade after they received a tip-off about potential immigration offences on Wednesday morning (31 July).

Approximately ten police officers, along with Home Office immigration enforcement officials, were spotted at the scene.

At least five police vans were parked on the industrial estate, along with numerous police cars and Home Office immigration vans.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that numerous individuals’ details were checked at the business, leading to one person being detained.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of breaching immigration bail conditions. They were handed over to the Home Office.
