A serious crash involving a car on its side has closed a main road in Chippenham.
Emergency services are at the scene of the incident, and have been since around 12.15pm. Avenue La Fleche at the junction with Gladstone Road is currently closed.
A spokesperson from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: ” On arrival crews located a two vehicle collision with one vehicle on its side and one individual trapped.
“Hydraulic cutting equipment and stabfast was used to successfully extricate the individual who is now in care of ambulance service.”
Stagecoach say that the 55 bus is unable to serve Chippenham railway station until further notice.
