A restaurant in Salisbury city centre has been shut down by police as they continue to investigate a major incident which left two people critically ill in hospital on Sunday evening.

Zizzi, on Castle Street, has been sealed by Wiltshire Police ‘as a precaution’.

One of the casualties is understood to be a former Russian spy, the BBC reports.

Public Health England say there’s not thought to be any risk to the public.
